Dr. Dave Wickersham, Owner & DVM
A 1981 graduate of the University of Illinois, School of Veterinary Medicine. He holds a Master’s Degree in Parasitology and Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science, also from the University of Illinois. He has been practicing small animal medicine in Wisconsin Rapids since 1982, where he was an associate veterinarian for 4 years, then became a 50% partner for 8 years. Woodland Veterinary Clinic resulted from that partnership splitting. More importantly it came from Dr. Wickersham’s dedication to the community and the overwhelming support of his longstanding clients.
Dr. Kristie Ponce, DVM
A 2000 graduate of UW - Madison, School of Veterinary Medicine.
She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from UW - Stevens
Point. In 2003, after she returned to her hometown of Wisconsin
Rapids, she continued practicing as an associate veterinarian in
small animal medicine. Having taken a 3-year hiatus in 2008 to
devote more time to her family, she returned to the veterinary
profession at Woodland in 2011.
